Experience Heritage brings history to life through innovative digital storytelling. Whether it’s an interactive heritage trail app, an augmented reality experience, photogrammetric model or a digital animation, we use our background in archaeology and digital technologies to bring to life the stories that you’re passionate about!
Director Bethany Watrous started Experience Heritage in 2018 out of a passion to more deeply understand and experience the past. Now joined by her brother, Senior Software Developer Brant Watrous, this family team is excited to tackle the creative and technical challenges of making heritage more accessible and engaging to more people.
Experience Heritage is a proud member of the SME Climate Hub, a global initiative that empowers small to medium sized companies to take climate action and build more resilient businesses. Through the SME Climate Hub, we commit to lowering our impact on the environment through authentic action, halving our emissions by 2030. In making the commitment, we have joined the United Nations Race to Zero campaign.

Our Team
Bethany Watrous, Director
Bethany is a digital archaeologist based in York, UK. She received her Master’s in Archaeology of Buildings from the University of York with distinction in 2018. She specializes in 3D modeling, film, research and is an A2 CofC certified drone pilot.
Brant Watrous, Senior Software Developer
Brant, based in the US, is a seasoned Web and Software Developer with over 15 years of experience. His specialties include React, React Native, Node, Google Cloud Platform, iOS and Android.
